I wouldn't be happy with either of those. The price is atleast 100 bucks to much on each. Super generic parts in there to i bet. The processors are probually ok in those but the graphics cards are junk. I have been building high performance pc's for over clocking competitions for a long time. Believe me a 650 nvidia card or that hd radeon wont hang. I have 3 - EVGA 680 GTX in SLI and you want a 680, 780, or a 970 gtx using only one graphics card. 4 Gigs on the gpu memory for the graphics card if possible. Other people will probually disagree with me. I base my performance testing off of Cinebench and future mark 3DMark bench mark testing. So lets see if anyone else chimes in.

What games, and what settings do you want? I'd like to run FS 13 and 15 for sure, the higher settings and faster the better of course within my price range. Kind of thinking ahead for when the son is a little older and maybe wants to play some other games as well...Call of Duty and the like. He has ran across GTA5 stuff and he likes the cars etc. but it sounds like I may not be old enough to play that game in my house. More research would be needed for sure, but it's most definitely a ways off at best for him. I played Call of Duty on PS2 or 3 years ago...can't remember which, been 10 years plus. I think it was PS2. Point being, I could maybe get into that again if I had a good enough computer for it and he became interested as well. Hopefully that helps a little LMB...hard for me to answer because I don't know where we'll go with all this. Summer break just started for the boys and one PC already kind of stinks and I have the youngest one wanting to start playing soon too. We are using a laptop now because it's what we had. My desktop in my man cave wouldn't run FS15. It gave the Shader cache 3.0 message which IIRC meant it wasn't enough graphics card. I tried to update the drivers after researching the issue and no joy. I never did try 2013 on it. The laptop runs most maps about 25 fps. I don't have much trouble with that but want better if we are going to invest in a computer for this purpose specifically. ER-WR, SD slowed down but was still playable. It ran that 16x map at about 12-15 fps usually while having a LOT of mods and equipment in the game. I'd like to double those numbers if possible to give you another answer to your question. I really appreciate you guys taking the time. I'm sure I annoy the hell out of a real computer person. LOL

LOL Aside from the GPU's in those, either of them would most likely run FS great, the CPU's are better then mine and it's great for FS. That GTX650 could probably run a stock map in FS on maxed settings on everything, and 30ish on the super high detailed mod maps out there.

So I've been looking to build my own PC for the first time, It's mainly for FS and ETS2, but my possibilities with it are pretty wide open since I dont know what all I'll be playing this summer. I put this together on PC Partpicker, and advice would be great. pcpartpicker.com/p/7ZrFrH

Pretty good build. I'd recommend getting 1600mhz ram as it's cheaper and the speed will do virtually nothing if you don't do high speed overclocking. So I'd get 1600 and buy more with the money you save. Also, 2x 1tb hdd is a better choice than a single 2tb. It's a preventative measure incase one drive fails you've got the other and larger volume drives are more prone to fail and almost always take more with them. That or get a 2nd 2tb and run raid. As for the cooler, is get a cooler master, corsair or noctua. They will run a little more but will provide better cooling in the long run. I personally like corsair cases and know nothing about the one you chose, but I know that corsair cases are great for cable management and airflow aswell as a sleek look. They again run a little more but again it's worth it. I'm an intel fan but amd is the bang for your buck CPU and there's nothing wrong with most of then. The 290 isn't a bad gpu but I'm partial to nvidia so I'd say go for the 970 or 980. That's just me. The FPS gamer in me also says get a 120 or 144hz monitor too, but their expensive if you won't really use it. Just my 2c.

I put this together on PC Partpicker, and advice would be great. pcpartpicker.com/p/7ZrFrHI agree with Colonel on this one. I have a Fx8350 in one of my computers and really liked it. It runs at 5ghz very easily on its crosshair V formula z board. But its not a big performer. An Intel I5 with the same price will out perform it. As far as the memory, I have Gskillz and love them. If you buy memory that is 2133 or 1866 mhz it defaults to 1600 mhz, because that is actually what it is. You have to over clock and set timings it to get it there manually or by XMP (extreme memory profile) in the bios. Im not a big fan of Gigabyte boards not saying its not an ok board. I'm partial to ASUS (ROG) and some EVGA motherboards. I paid $475 for my Rampage IV extreme board in the beginning of 2014 and I would pay $575 easily if I had to do it over again. To me the motherboard is the most crucial part of my builds. I guess what im saying is dont go cheap on the motherboard or your power supply. You'll regret it later. IF you plan adding another radeon 290 for crossfire in the near future that 750W psu might not be able to hang. I have a 1200w psu and its not enough for my rig.

CybertronPC Strike-1X GM3122A Gaming Desktop This is probually the better of the ones you have shown. 3770k is a good processor and the case looks plenty big enough for upgrades. I would stay away from micro ATX hardware unless your building to just watch movies or videos. Compare it to an xbox 360 or one and playstation 3 or 4. You'll probually get console like performance out of the last two you shown us. Sucks building on a budget, i've been there.

If you're going to build a PC on a budget, build one, don't buy some cheap tinybox that insnt worth a darn just because you are on a budget. My first PC didn't cost me as much as your expensive option. I say you put together a PC on pcpartpicker.

Power supply and windows 8(that ones my opinion) is where you went wrong. Always get at least a 80+ Gold PSU and for your convenience, fully modular. I made the mistake of getting a non modular bronze psu, and its horrible for cable management, and its not very power efficient. Everything else looks good, I'd have bought a "K" model cpu, simply because if you wanted to sell it later it'd be worth more and if you ever decide to OC you can't adjust the multipliers without the "K."

Ah, I gotcha. Thanks for your input. Luckily, none of that is too much of a concern for me. For the power supply, I don't mind a little more power usage and I guess I'll just have an interesting time sorting out the cables lol. As for windows 8, I've become accustomed to it, so that's no problemo. Edit: Sratch that! The PSU listed in my parts is not the one I ended up getting. It is still bronze, but it is fully modular but still the same base model.
