G'day everyone.
Apologies for not being active, I haven't been on here since I signed up a month or so ago. 1) I didn't add a bookmark and 2) when I remembered the site (purely by chance, as I came across a hastily scrawled URL among the notes on my desk) I couldn't remember my password.
Now that that's fixed, and before I forget, I'll announce that I'm working on a map. The map is called 'Southern Cross Farms'. I was working on a map called Swanport however the dev copy suffered some sort of corruption and refused to load up and the back up is about 63 man hours behind in terms of work done because I had forgotten to make a back up. Lesson learned.
This map was originally my concept test map - I'd do things in here before I'd duplicate the work in Swanport - save me screwing up...the irony is so strong, it should be called 'titaniumy'...my WIP map. As Swanport progressed, I decided I'd develop the map into one myself and a friend of mine would use. As he computer runs FS15 but the more detailed maps eat his CPU and RAM for breakfast, for this map I opted to use 95% (random figure plucked from my head) stock models. Despite this, I think it's coming along nicely.
This map is loosely based on a small town in Australia (the road layout and the position of some areas) however most of it was made up in my head as I went along.
I don't have a webpage or account with a picture sharing site so in lieu of that, I'll provide a link to the AEM thread where I post updates - at least once a week. The map will also be uploaded here, for those who do not want/have an account with AEM. Let me know what you think. I'm also having a slight issue with the pig/beef mod at the moment (discussed in my post) so if you can think of anything I maybe need to look at, let me know.
