Field WorkWhat Is a Field Work Course?A field work course is the CoursePlay course used for well, field work ie: Combines, choppers, tillage, rakes, balers, stackers, anything in the field except emptying combines or spreading slurry, it’s the most universal course.
So you got your combine to the field.
Now follow these steps.
Step One: Open CoursePlay.Click your right mouse button (RMB) and the CoursePlay hud should open, if it doesn’t, hit: Left Ctrl + Delete.
Step Two: Generate a course.Go to the field work tab in the CP hud, and select the field you want from field edge path line, in this case field 11.
Hit the work width line auto button thing. (calculator)
(If you don’t want multiple working side by side, skip this next bit.)
But wait! What about these guys?
In this case just round your width down to the next whole number (ie: 1,2,3,4,5 etc.), then multiply it by the number of machines.
Back to generating,
Now set your corner and direction, North-East and South here.
Headlands if you want them.
And hit generate.
Now back to setting it for two again!
Go to the Driving Settings tab, and we are working with lane offset here.
Remember that rounded down number? Take it, and multiply it by .5, so in this case, we have 4.5 meters.
Set the offset to 4.5 (Left).
And go!
Now for the second one, go back to the Driving Settings tab, and set it to copy course: XYZ machine, and hit the little thing that looks like two pages
Now set the offset to 4.5 (Right) and go, after the first guy has enough lead for the second to not hit him.
And let er go!
Step Three: BalersCopy the course off one of the combines, and set your offset to match it and go, repeat for the other side.
Step Four: StackersSame as the balers, but also set your “Tool offset horizontal” to about 2.5 (left)
And go!
That’s all for now folks!
