Method for submission of mods:
User will send a message to at least one and preferably all three admins, Diesel Boss, LMBFarmer, SRSMDS, containing a full description for posting on the forum should be mod be approved.
For original mods, this post will contain the following things:
1. A detailed description with minimal spelling and grammatical errors (the red squiggly lines under words mean something) of what the mod is and what it does.
2. At least two pictures of the mod taken with a screenshot tool, not a phone picture of a screen.
3. A link to the mod from a reputable download site (dropbox, filefactory, mega.co.nz, and mediafire links are fine). Sites like uploaded.net will not work.
4. Full credits for the mod and all of its parts, even if someone else helped with the project in the slightest way.
5. The acknowledgement that by posting your mod on OpenSourceFS, you have a realization of the fact that this is an editor's community, and your mod may be edited (with proper credits) and posted in a modified form at a later time.

Once your mod has been submitted for testing, please wait patiently as the staff of this forum run your mod or edit through its paces and analyze it for errors and issues.
The mod will be rated in various areas on a scale of 1-5. Five is best, while 1 is worst. Any mod registering below a 3 will not be posted on this forum.
Once a mod is approved for uploading, a staff member will contact you with the testing report which will be posted below the mod once you post it in the proper section.
DO NOT post your mod in the download section before it is tested: the post will be deleted.
