Some of you may have noticed that my posts on AFP have partially been deleted, and that is no mistake. After several months working with AFP, I have decided to permanently cut ties with the page.
This isn't because I am done with modding, FS, screenshoting, videography, or anything else, but the manner of business on AFP has disintegrated as of late, and I don't want to be associated with that page any more.
However, in a few days (maybe a couple weeks), there will be another annoucement regarding OS-FS and social media. Also, some changes will be coming to the forum in the near future to promote growth and encourage people to participate on this site.
Thank you guys for your patience as we undergo some changes.

OSFS is hopefully going to grow and really start heading the way that was always desired of this community, but not without the help of the community. We don't need donations, we don't need a pat on the back, but we need you guys to start sharing the site. Tell your friends, post the site on other sites, post links on FB pages. Get us recognized and make sure everyone knows we're not trying to compete with anyone, but rather we're trying to better the whole community. We ask very little of you all, and this is one more to add to the list. We can't do this without your support, so please, if you enjoy the site, share it!

I'll definitely share the page on my Facebook page. I have a little over 700 likes. I should be able to help bring quite a few people over. I'm excited to see what the news will be.

I visit OSFS several times everyday. Sometimes its quit boring. I see alot of people visiting and nobody posting. What members that are active on here should post more stuff anything to keep it interesting. Nobody wants to be on a computer when its nice outside and farmers are super busy this time of year, so i understand it going to be slow on here. Need more downloads, even if its the same ones everyone else has on there sites with pop up free hosting. I think then the site will be busy. I come here for a drama free forum and some great screens. Alot of people are big fans of your work SRSMDS. I dont have many resources to help out. My son in law is a developer and owns a website called All that is gaming. It is getting popular, but it more towards android gaming. I will try and think of a way to write an article about farming simulator and truck simulators and mention the OSFS community. I am allowed to draft in their PC gaming and hardware section. Thats about all i can do to help.

We're working on the mod aspect, as for the posting, I know that Srs and myself are going to be drawn thin for time because of our jobs, but that doesn't mean the community can't post. No one cares if your screens look like crap, that's how they get better, by starting bad and taking advice on how to make things better. The admins aren't the only ones who can post mods either, anyone can submit a mod for release. We can only do so much, the members have to do the rest.

And believe me, my first screens weren't very good either! No one starts at the top, and I'm still not at the top years later. |

Unfortunately I think people have gotten to the entitlement phase in the FS community. The "I want all your mods dammit, y u no release?" kind of crap, everyone wants to be entertained but no one is willing to work. |

The problem isn't just them, it's the modders that think they can tell people they need to learn and give back when they themselves have stopped trying to teach and give back. It's a hypocrisy that's causing people to get more and more greedy. They themselves are selfish and then ream people for being selfish. A lot of people don't like what I say about things, and in the trucksims world I'm known as an , but about 95% of the time I'm right, and people just can't handle that for some reason.

I guess I'll continue my support for OF-FS then since I have no clue what happened. But I'll be more than happy to help as much as I can besides my summertime.
Regarding what will happen to AFP, I'll continue posting my screenshots if it will interest anyone. Or I will cease completely and go inactive.
Just a curious question, but I'll be around to keep my eye around here. I apologize to disappoint anyone if so.
